Altar Servers:
Pope Francis has always acknowledged the important role of altar servers. Serving at the altar, the pope told the young people, is a privileged way to draw closer to Jesus, which in turn “enables you to open yourselves to others, to journey together, to set demanding goals and to find the strength to achieve them.”
After receiving communion, a great way to serve God is to become an altar server. Our parish has always had these unimpeachable children of God at most of our Eucharistic celebrations. The Altar Servers meetings take place every weekend. The meetings transpire to be a combined mixture of prayer, knowledge of faith and tons of fun.
