Announcements 13th October 28th Sunday Ordinary time

1.       Today is the 28th Sunday of Ordinary Time and our Parish Feast. We Pray that Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary will bless and protect you always. We wish you all a very Happy feast. Please communicate our wishes to all members of your family, especially to the sick and Housebound. Enjoy a slice of cake as you leave the church and stay back to meet and greet each other and enjoy the live Band.

2.     We Thank Bishop Dominic Savio Fernandes for celebrating the Eucharistic on this our feast day

3.     We thank all Parish council members, associations, choir members, animators, core group members, Altar servers, Women’s Cell, Family cell, the sisters and youth and the communities and associations that animated the Parish Novena in honour of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. Thank you for your time commitment and presence in our Parish community.

4.     We also place on record our deep gratitude for all those behind the scenes, the Office staff, the sacristan, and the support staff. Thank you for everything you do for the Church

5.         The readings of the 28th h Sunday in Ordinary Time focus on the wisdom of God and the challenge of following Jesus. The messages encourage believers to seek God’s wisdom and prioritize spiritual wealth over material wealth. 

6.         We enter the month of October which is traditionally the month of the Rosary. The Holy Rosary will be Prayed daily in the Church at 6:30 pm followed by the mass. We will offer the Rosary for the ongoing Synod

7.         While our celebrations and festivities are important, we should never lose focus on what we are celebrating. So we invite you to come in large numbers to join the Parish Fathers and Sisters in Praying the Rosary. We will Pray the Rosary in the church at 6:00 pm. After the Rosary we will have The Catholic Sabha Awards and The Parish Social in the Undercroft.

8.         We have begun the preparations for the Jubilee year  2025. To offer direction and guidance to the faithful in the Archdiocese of Bombay, informative videos illustrating the Constitutions of Vatican II will be played on some Sundays after the announcements Today after the announcements we will screen the second Video on Lumen Gentium the “Light of the Nations.”

9.         The collections on  Sunday October 6th was   Rs 46710/-, First Friday Rs 9480/- Box collection Rs.12810/-We thank you for your generosity.
