1. The 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B readings highlight faith, trust in God, and the call to follow Christ. These themes show us how to live out our faith in everyday life.
2. The Bombay Catholic Sabha Rosary Unit is offering annual scholarships for our parish's deserving Catholic students. Details are on the notice board
3. The Seniors citizen's group of our Parish are organising a session on how to make a will on Sunday 22nd September after the 10 am mass in the undercroft. All are welcome Please register yourself with the Senior citizen members.
4. As a run-up to the Jubilee year we are reflecting and understanding the documents of the 2nd Vatican Council. To offer direction and guidance to the faithful in the Archdiocese of Bombay, informative videos illustrating the Constitutions of Vatican II will be played on some Sundays after the announcements. Today after the announcements we will screen the second Video on Sacred Liturgy Sacrosanctum Concilium, which highlights the changes introduced into the church to sacred liturgy.
5. The women’s cell of the Archdiocese and the women’s cell of Rosary Church are organising a seminar on Financial Literacy on Sunday 29th September from 11 am to 1 pm. This talk will be in the school hall.
6. The First Sunday of October is celebrated as Thanks Giving Sunday in the Archdiocese of Bombay. We Thank the lord for the abundance of blessings that he bestows on us on Sunday 6th October with a thanksgiving mass at 10 am followed by a thanking meal. Your Parish Council members will approach you shortly with further details.
7. From 4th Oct (Fri) we will began our Parish Novenas in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary. The theme chosen this year is Journeying with Mary towards a Synodal Church. We invite you all to be part of our preparations as we strive to grow as a loving caring Synodal church.
8. The monthly meeting of the Rosarian Active Youth will be held on Sunday 15th September at 8.15 pm. Kindly note this meeting is mandatory for all the youth in the Parish.
9. In our efforts to introduce the young to different forms of prayer. We are organising a Taize Prayer service on Sunday 22nd September at 7.30 pm. Everyone is welcome to be part of this service.
