Announcements 4th August 18th Sunday Ordinary time

1.         The 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B readings focus on God’s care and our call to live in righteousness. These readings remind us of God’s constant presence and the need for spiritual nourishment.

2.         We Wish to thank all the youth for organising a meaningful liturgy and all our children and youth for a delightful Happy Parents Day entertainment program. The stars of the evening were the brilliant performance put up by the Parents themselves. Thank you for coming and making the evening a great experience.

3.         Today is Vianney Sunday, the feast of St. John Marie Vianney, the Patron of diocesan priests. We request you to kindly pray for all Priest that the lord with always strengthen and nourish them. On Vianney Sunday, we will have a special collection for the sick and retired priests. We have given each family an envelope via the PPc member, Please drop your contributions in the boxes placed near the Altar. Those who would like to contribute by cheque may do so in the name of the “Archdiocese of Bombay”. Please mention your PAN number and address for receipts. Please note this is a voluntary collection.

4.         The Diocesan Vocation Service Centre is organizing the annual Quest program on 15th August at St Pius X Seminary (Goregaon East) from 9:00 am to 1 pm and will include Mass and lunch. Catholic boys and girls who are 18 years and above (senior college and working adults) and would like to discern for the Priesthood and Religious life or are interested in discerning their call in life are encouraged to attend this program. The registration is online For further details kindly look up the poster on the Notice Board.

5.         August 6th is the feast of the Transfiguration of Our lord. The Transfiguration proclaims Christ's divine sonship and foreshadows His future glory when He, the Messiah, will bring forth the long-awaited Kingdom of Heaven

6.         The Goan Cultural Association of Rosary Parish is having a Thanksgiving Mass at 10 am followed by a cultural programme in our church on Sunday, 18th August 2024 to celebrate World Goa Day. Passes are available with the members at the Parish Office. For more details please look up the notice board.

7.          The Sunday collection on Sunday 21st July was Rs. 36120/-  We thank you for your generosity.
