Today is the 14th Sunday of Ordinary time. Jesus extends an invitation to all who are burdened and weary to come to Him for rest, offering solace and relief to those who seek refuge in Him. Today is also celebrated as Faith Formation Sunday. We Pray that every family will fulfil its role of being The Domestic Church
Confession is heard every Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Those who wish to make a dialogue confession are requested to make an appointment with any of the priests.
On Sunday, July 9, the Rosarian Senior Citizens Association will conduct Housie after the 10 a.m. mass. On Thursday, July 13, they will have a prayer meeting in the Kg class at 6 p.m. We invite all senior citizens to join the Senior Citizen's activities.
The PPC members and animators of Zone 1 will be visiting the families of Zone 1 between 7 to 9 p.m. starting Monday. This is to help the new parish council members meet and interact with members of their community.
The Youth of our Parish invite all parents to the upcoming Parents and Grandparents Day on Sunday, July 30th. The theme chosen is Parents, Our Everyday Heroes. We will celebrate Parents Day with a special liturgy at the 6 p.m. Mass on Sunday 30th and then proceed to the undercroft for the cultural programme, games, and dinner. Passes will be available via the Youth Council and Parish Council from next Sunday onward.
A unique attraction on Sunday, July 23rd, as a part of our Parents Day celebrations, is a mothers vs. daughters throwball match and a Fathers vs. Sons Football match. This will take place on the tuff after the 10 a.m. mass. Those mothers and fathers interested in participation, please give your names to any of the Parish fathers or sisters.
The Rosarian Active Youth will meet tomorrow, July 9, after the evening Mass. We request that all youth members be present. We also invite those who wish to join the youth group to attend the meeting.
The Sunday collection on July 1 was Rs. 33890. This collection goes towards the needs of the Archdioceses. Thank you for your Generosity.
